Bar Bambino Celebrates Friuli-Venezia Giulia
With a Special Dinner Featuring Parovel Wines

Join us on Thursday, 30 June for a special dinner highlighting the cuisine of Friuli, and featuring wines from the Parovel family.

Elena Parovel will be here to guide guests through her limited-availability wines and the history of Carso, while Executive Chef Elizabeth Binder and Pastry Chef Alyce Shields take guests on a gastronomic journey with a 5-course menu that mimics their travels this past Spring through Friuli, from the Adriatic Sea to the Carnic Alps.

Highlights from the inspired menu include nettle dumplings in a Montasio and chive blossom fonduta, paired with a Parovel’s 2007 Matos Nonet (a blend of Malvasia Istriana, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon); and slow-braised veal cheeks encrusted in breadcrumbs served on mixed heirloom chicories tossed with a Malvasia vinaigrette, paired with the 2008 Refosco.
