In the west of the country comes the distinctive Cape Malay style that is a fascinating blend of Eastern (Malaysian), European (Dutch, English, German, and French), and African cooking traditions. In the eastern part of the country, Indian, English, and Germanic influences are added to the African mix to create a wholly unique and delicious set of flavors. |
A 4-course menu inspired by Lizzie’s ancestral home in Durban and influenced by her travels and professional cooking throughout her home country. We are excited to share this set of flavors with you and to support the inspiring cause of Soccer Without Borders in the process. On this evening 15% of our sales will be donated to Soccer Without Borders. And if you give $20 or more additional we’ll surprise you with a memorable take-home South African treat. Founded in 2006, Soccer Without Borders is a non-profit organization based in San Francisco, California.
