Festa di Lambrusco
Monday, 12 April from 7pm to 10pm

Maligned, misunderstood, vilified...but what came from the 70s that wasn't?

Far from the syrupy 'Riuniti On Ice' of the 70s, quality Lambrusco is making a comeback. Today's Lambruschi (plural for Lambrusco) have everything it takes to be a food-friendly pairing partner: beautifully balanced earth, fruit, and mouth-watering fizziness.

On 12 April 2010, join Bar Bambino as we eat and drink our way through Emilia-Romagna, Lambrusco's home region. Chef Elizabeth Binder's 4-course menu starts the culinary journey with a salad inspired by specialties of Parma, Modena, and Bologna. The journey continues with house-made garganelli served with the flavors of spring, then takes a delicious turn with rabbit braised in Lambrusco, and finishes with a delightful strawberry tart that will remind you of Nonna's best baking. All courses are paired with a distinctive Lambrusco selected by in-house Lambrusco aficionado, Becky Pezzullo. Click here to view the full menu.
